About the Authors

This book is written by a team from The faculty of Deaf Education and Learning Support at City Lit, led by Karen Considine. City Lit is an adult education centre located in Central London, providing courses to over 24,000 students every year. The faculty of Deaf Education and Learning Support provides accredited British Sign Language courses at all levels to both deaf and hearing students and each of their tutors are qualified teachers and BSL assessors, with specialist training in teaching sign language. As well as providing sign language tuition at City Lit, they also visit companies and institutions to teach sign language.
